Kiehl's always tends to blow me away with its products (their creme de corps is as classic as a Biz Markie track). But their latest line, the Superbly Restorative line, is just uncanny. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, so whenever something promises to give me soft and lustrous skin, I instantly do the whole eye-rolling, "Yeah, right!" thing. So, I tried a lab sample of the Superbly Restorative Dry Oil (those of you who aren't in the beauty industry, don't worry — I didn't volunteer to slather on anything in a test tube! All the terms "lab sample" means is that the product isn't in the final packaging!) In any case, I was straight-up stunned at how healthy and soft my skin felt after only a few uses.
The key ingredient in the line is fair-traded, organic Moroccan Argan oil, which smooths skin and gives it this ultra sexy sheen (not that gooey mess you get from baby oil!) The skin salve and body lotion are also amazing, but the Superbly Restorative Dry Oil is like a miracle elixir. Your skin will feel so smooth after rubbing some on, you'll be on the verge of having a Tweet moment (y'all know what I'm talking about! "Oops... Oh My" was a hit song, so don't act all coy now!)
Anyway, it gets two enthusiastic thumbs up, it's going to Hollywood, it gets a Flava Flav clock, it's Heidi Klum-style "in," and it gets any other positive pop culture reinforcement and kudos.
