It's taken me this long to discover Napoleon Perdis DéVine Goddess lipstick range — and who, have I been missing out! The much trumpeted line of lipsticks features 18 sultry shades, all named after deities (be they figures in Greek and Roman mythology or in the rock-n-roll canon). Each lipstick features herbal extracts that nourish and hydrate your pout, and they all boast a seductively creamy texture. When you smooth on the lipstick, it practically melts onto your lips, making the experience all the more sensual and enjoyable.
I had the chance to try three shades of DéVine Goddess: Athena, a nude rose shade with slightly peachy undertones; Nymphe, a Thulian pink shade; and Sofia, a berry-like Venetian red color. They're all relatively free of shimmer (which I've actually been preferring as of late) but they do have a sophsticated, subtle sheen.
