A couple of days ago, I showed you ladies the first half of MAC's Venomous Villains collection, but trust me wen I say this: I saved the best for last. In addition to the two Disney villains mentioned in the previous post (Cruella De Vil of 101 Dalmatians and Dr. Facilier of The Princess and the Frog), the Venomous Villains collection immortalizes two of the most recognizable female scoundrels in animated movie history: Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs' Evil Queen and Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent.
Both mini-collections explore the darker, more savage and id-driven, Hobbesian nature of womankind, with lilac, purple, midnight blue, forest green, and smoky plum colors that read as sinister and cold, yet manage to be as beguiling as the cursed spindle that sent Aurora into a century-long sleep (luckily, the makeup doesn't have the narcotic side effects!).
Just remember: you can take some style tips from these evil villains, but it's still better to play nice!

EVIL QUEEN
This collection commemorates the woman who made the "Mirror, mirror, on the wall" a mainstay in pop culture lingo: the Evil Queen in Snow White. She may have been green with envy over Snow White's raven locks, plump pout, and radiant skin, but this queen's go-to colors were the purple, violet burgundy, plum, and black in her coat dress and high-collared robe. Her tight-lipped expression, meanwhile, was made more severe by the bright poppy red color of her mouth.
LIPSTICK:
The Evil Queen's tight-lipped expression was only made more severe by their intense, furious, poppy red color. The Toxic Tale lipstick in this collection, a creamy, coral red color. Though it's not an apple-worthy red (which would make the most sense given the queen's poisoned apple scheme), the color does have a fruity cocktail vibe. The Sinister lipstick shade, meanwhile, is a rather sheer, Tootsie Roil-like hue — just like the tender spots of an apple on the verge of rotting.

LIPGLASS:
A resplendent, shiny lip is a necessity for the woman with an obsessive relationship with her beloved mirror so, of course, these Lipglass hues offer a vinyl-like coating ad just a hint of pearly sparkle. Strange Potion is a warm peach pink, while the Hot House shade is a raspberry-tinged purple color, a deep fuchsia with soft pink pearl particles.

EYE SHADOW:
The eye shadows in this collection feel like a visual odyssey through the Evil Queen's wardrobe warehouse and vanity table. Her Alter Image, a soft violet shade with an Ice Queen feel, recalls the eyeshadow worn by the regal rogue. The Vile Violet, meanwhile, is a dusty, matte purple with a dirty feel to it, reminiscent of the color of her signature, floor-length dress. Lastly, the Vainglorious eye shadow, a bronze-tinged burgundy color, brings to mind her rope belt.

MALEFICENT
Sleeping Beauty was always my favorite fairy tale (and on bad days, I still secretly wish that some prince would wake me up from my living nightmare!), but the opening scene of the Disney movie, when Maleficent stormed into a party for the newborn Aurora and cast a spell on her, positively terrified me. Her ram-like horns were spooky enough, but the diabolical, pointy face, the purple-trimmed, ebony black cape, and the creepy crow propped on her shoulder were enough to give me nightmares. But that was precisely the intended effect — Maleficent epitomized evil, but she was also glamorous in an unexpected and chilling way. The sculptural lines of her cape, the triangular shapes of her perfectly groomed eyes, and the violet-covered brow bones all gave her presence more weight and gravity.
Below, you'll find a series of ominous, moody purple, blue, violet, and green shades that will remind you of the shape-shifting, teleporting, evil fairy.
LIPSTICK:
Remember how Maleficent's cape was lined with a cool violet shade, prominently displayed in her upturned, high collar? Well, the Violetta lipstick color appears to be inspired by that original hue, but it's a bit softer, with more dominant pink tones balancing the violet color. The Dark Deed lipstick, meanwhile, is a more vamp-like burgundy color reminiscent of the nail lacquer hue Maleficent sported in the classic Disney film.

LIPGLASS:
Though these colors, too, focus on the purple-centered universe of black magic in which Maleficent operated, they look rather different on the skin than they do in their tubes. The Revenge Is Sweet Lipglass, for example, appears to be a grape candy color in its tube and yet, on the skin, it's a rather innocent, blue-toned light pink. Wrong Spell, meanwhile, is substantially darker, like a blackberry hue, and yet it's incredibly sheer, so that it gives lips a deep plum sheen.

MINERALIZE EYE SHADOW:
These eye shadows are simply magnificent — probably my favorite pieces in the entire Venomous Villains collection. Both Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo palettes capture the eeriness of Maleficent's chambers and the beautiful creepiness of her getup. She Who Dares features a mysterious forest green color with chartreuse green pearl particles reminiscent of the glowing orb on Maleficent's staff next to a midnight, cosmic, blue hue saturated with light blue glimmer particles. The My Dark Magic palette, meanwhile, captures the feel of her apparel, offering a blackened, dark pink color with fuchsia pink pearls and an even darker, duskier plum shade with light purple particles. Both are bewitching, so I'd really urge you to invest in both colors!

NAIL LACQUER:
These glimmer-saturated shades can change color much like Maleficent could change shapes. Bad Fairy, a metallic pink shade, can appear warmer and more fiery due to the gold and pink pearl micro-particles in the formula, while Formidable! appears like a deep, near-black purple with teal green pearl particles.

BEAUTY POWDER:
This powder has a chilly, violet tint to it that's perfectly in keeping with Maleficent's purple passion, and yet the color is still a pretty Cherry Blossom-esque pink that gives the face a youthful look.
