Getting ready to rock around the Christmas tree? Then break out the festive décor with one of Lolita's hand-painted glasses, which feature whimsical, season-appropriate motifs. Each of her Holiday 2011 martini glasses holds 7 1/2 ounces of liquor and features a special recipe printed on the bottom of the glass.
This season's designs include the Holiday Diva Martini Glass, pictured at top, in which the stem is used to represent the svelte figure of a woman clad in a glittery red frock, her hips and bosom widening as one's gaze moves upward to the V-shaped top section, a furry white trim giving her strapless frock a Mrs. Claus flair. The words "I'm a Holiday Diva" are hand-painted in green cursive lettering below the rim and white snowflake shapes cover the base of the glass.
Another standout is the Santa's New Hat Martini Glass, shown second from top, which features a base covered in a fluffy-, feather-like trim mimicking the furry puff tip on Santa's classic red hat. Most of the V-shaped top, along with the stem, is painted a holly red shade, with white "S" letters and glittery star embellishments and a thick strip of white paint, stippled to create a textured feel, references the furry trim on Santa's hat.
For a more traditional aesthetic check out the Lolita Naughty & Nice Martini Glass, pictured third above, which nods to the patterns we associate with red-white-and-green starlight mints via the swirls of color on the base of the glass and the dot atop the "nice" word painted in stencil-like letters across the glass.
