After wooing and wowing us with their forward-thinking, avant-garde shower curtain rings, home accessories company Kontextur is revealing a line of refreshingly innovative, edgy shower curtains by British textile designer Kaniez Abdi.
The shower curtain designs fit into three main themes: tactile (which focus on using interesting and unexpected materials), outside/in (which feature imagery inspired by nature), and geometric (which display angular and/or circular shapes). Pictured above are some of Abdi's designs. The first, dubbed "Hex," features a white mesh fabric and hexagonal shapes in gold foil (some of the shapes are filled, whereas others are merely outlined). The second design features red, blot-like patterns on a polyurethane panel with criss-crossed red fabric netting on top. The third curtain, meanwhile, was made to resemble a leather-like fabric with metal eyelets arranged to resemble floral shapes. Thoroughly modern and edgy, these curtains are a prime example of out-of-the-box design.
Who ever thought a shower curtain could transform the bathroom into the sexiest room of your house?
